Are you throwing a destination wedding in Mexico? Or just looking to bring a touch of Mexico to your wedding. This adorable wedding from our own vendor Elizabeth Medina will absolutely make you smile.
We are always on the lookout for weddings that bring humor, color and touches of that Southwestern wedding style that brings a little bit of that South of the Border flair to the reception and the florales.
The Color Palette
Instead of going with a palette that reflected the beach or sand, this couple chose rich ruby reds and oranges that spoke more to the traditions of Mexico. From the table tops to the cake toppers, this couple incorporated the touches of Mexico that would be perfect whether you are throwing a wedding in San Miguel de Allende or just in your own backyard.

We love the terra cotta orange and rich reds that blended all the colors of the reception area walls. How delicious is the signage. The vintage look really evokes a different time.

Lighting
The couple also had incredible touches of Morrocan lighting and lanterns hung all over the reception hall to bring twinkle and sparkle to the incredibly romantic garden style reception.

The Decor
The bride chose red and white tablecloth that have a traditional ethnic flair to her already whimsical choices. But, you don’t need to travel south of the border to incorporate this feel. We absolutely love the tarot card table numbers – colorful and playful!
