Top 5 Wedding Entrance Songs

Looking for fun wedding entrance song ideas to kick off your reception with a touch of personality? Who says you have to go with the slow strains of a romantic melody? Some of the most memorable reception entrance songs are those that bring a smile to everyone’s face.

1.  Chris Brown’s Forever

Remember, that amazing couple that choreographed their very own entrance repleat with all of their attendants.  If you don’t already know, this couple and their bridesmaids and groomsmen were so popular that they went on NBC’s “the Today Show.”  Yes, that’s right, they were so awesome, that they were featured on NBC.

Here is the awesome wedding:

Here is the Chris Brown video just in case…

2.  Black Eyed Peas “I gotta Feeling”

Ok. We love this. Its fun, its lively and if you are the kinda couple that likes to get the party started this will certainly help.  Of course, you could always just play “Let’s Get it Started” but this seems a little more contemporary.

Okfor those who want something just a little more sentimental.

3.  “I See You”by Leona Lewis (from Avatar)

This is one of those songs where guests might just get a tear in their eye but that’s ok.  Its a special day right?

If you are one of those novias who is looking for the perfect awwww moment, then Leona Lewis is great. Or, there are still those wedding entrance songs that manage to be sweet without sounding sugary. We love When I’m 64 by the Beatles and Frank Siantra’s Love and Marriage.

4.   Celebration by Kool and the Gang.

For example, we heard of one bride who decided to forgo the traditional grand wedding entrance song for a Soul Train style dance line. The bride, groom, and bridal party sashayed into the reception to the strains of Celebration by Kool and the Gang.  Or what about the theme from Austin Powers.

5.   REM’s The End of the World… as we Know It.

Or, for a little tongue in cheek fun, you might want to consider a reception entrance song that’s nontraditional (to say the least). REM’s song is hilarious or ay homage to the end of your single days with Queen’s Another one Bites the Dust, Highway to Hell by AC/DC

This is a great idea. I love the flexibility of it. To be able to buy what I want, when I want, where I want seems great. And, with the free wedding website - this could be our one stop shop for both telling people about our event and letting them know what we'd like (if they're looking to get us something). Thanks Para ti Novia for letting us know about this. Who knew...
