by: Kelly Oshiro, Wedding Planning Expert.

Hello Para ti Novia readers! My name is Kelly Oshiro and I am an event design and wedding planner based in Santa Barbara. Today I’d like to share some of my all time favorite wedding venue locations in Santa.

1. Zaca Creek Ranch

Located in the heart of California’s Santa Ynez Valley the gorgeous property features a huge lawn with stunning views of the valley-perfect for the ceremony or reception. There is also a large house on the property that the couple and there family can stay in. Adjacent to the home is a barn area that would be perfect for cocktail hour.

(Kelly, we love this too, it is definitely one of my favorite in Santa Barbara wedding locations!)

2. St Francis Ranch

Also in Santa Ynez Valley is a private ranch that has sweeping views of Lake Cachuma and there are even zebras on the property.

This property epitomizes Santa Barbara cool with a perfect landscape for a couple looking for a wedding location or venue that just says California!

3. Rose Story Farm

What can I say? It’s a rose farm and was featured in Martha Stewart Living.

4. Seagate Estate

This Santa Barbara estate features a gorgeous Japanese style home with sweeping 360-degree views of the ocean and mountains. The property can also sleep up to 6 guests.  Perfect for the wedding party or the bridesmaids the evening before the wedding!

5. The Granada

A historic 1920’s theater in Santa Barbara that was recently renovated, the wrought iron work, the gold detail painting is truly spectacular and is completely unique. You can have your reception on stage and they will even put your name on the marquee for a nominal fee.

6. Coral Casino at the Four Seasons

Another recently renovated property this ballroom is right on the ocean. Featuring 1930’s regency details, its pure elegance.

7. Twin Peaks Ranch in Ojai

This ranch has one of the most spectacular areas for ceremony I’ve ever seen. A grove of Oak Trees come together overhead and create a natural ceiling that diffuse light; the effect is magical.
