Fresh colors and sweet, delicate fragrances make spring flowers many a bride’s favorite. And while you can have any kind of bloom flown in from all parts of the globe, the fact is that if you stick to what’s in season and available, you’ll save a bundle on your florist’s bill. Sure, roses are lovely any time of year, but why not take advantage of some of springtime’s other gorgeous flowers? Here are our top 10:
1. Cherry Blossoms: Chic, sophisticated and elegant, they’ll add an element of grace to indoor or outdoor weddings.

2. Lilacs: In white or purple, these romantic blooms lend a dreamy look and romantic scent to bridal bouquets.

3. Lily of the Valley: Another great choice for spring bouquets, lilies look equally beautiful as part of arches and centerpieces.

4. Peonies: Fluffy, colorful peonies make amazing centerpieces and accent flowers throughout your reception décor.

5. Daisies: Does any flower say “spring” more than bright, colorful daisies? Pair them with poms for a playful look that’s perfect for a casual outdoor fete.

6. Larkspur: Tall and graceful, larkspurs are affordable and absolutely beautiful. Try a few different shades of blue to add depth to arrangements.

7. Pansies: Pansies are another affordable and colorful flower that looks spectacular as part of table arrangements. A member of the violet family, pansies can be a little delicate, so be careful about using them as the main attraction.

8. Hyacinth: Hyacinths happen to be one of this chica’s personal favorites when it comes to wedding flowers. Can you blame me? They’re the perfect combination of color, romance, strength, and femininity.

9. Sweet Peas: Aside from being beautiful additions to bouquets and arrangements, sweet peas add a sweet fragrance to your entire reception.

10. Irises: Irises are said to symbolize faith, love, wisdom and hope…making them perfect wedding flowers!
