Real Wedding: Sara & Ricky at Brisco Manor in Houston, Tx

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Hi chicas!  Here is our latest wedding from deep in the heart of Texas, Houston!  From start to finish you will love how this couple poured their personality into their day.

How did you two meet?

Sara: Through high school friends. It was a semi-blind date, Ricky knew what I looked like but I had no idea who he was.

How did he propose?

Sara: On Christmas Eve in front of both our families while opening presents!!

The Color Palette

The couple went with chic black and white for their ceremony.  Hence the amazing shoes for the bride. Way to rock the zebra!

The Venue:

The couple chose Briscoe Manor in Houston Tx.

Sarah: We first saw it online and then went to visit it and we were both sold from the moment we walked in. It is absolutely beautiful. And plus we always wanted an outside wedding and we loved the lakeside but if weather didn’t permit an outside wedding they also have a chapel that is absolutely beautiful.

Keeping to the Budget

Sara: We just tried our best to keep our guest count to a minimum, which over all kept us in our budget.

Would you do anything differently?

Nothing. Our wedding day was exactly what we wanted and Briscoe Manor made our day absolutely enjoyable as they completely took over everything the day of and we didn’t have to worry about anything.
