Keeping it Green….Top Eco Friendly Wedding Decorations

Friday, October 30th, 2009

by: Veronika Lazabal

Regardless of the colors you’ve chosen for your bridesmaids’ dresses, table cloths, or bouquet, there’s always room for a little green. Add a touch of planet friendly flare without creating a budget meltdown by simply swapping out some of your current ideas with greener choices.

For example, skip the rice toss in favor of biodegradable or water soluble confetti in your wedding colors. Or, for a whimsical touch that’s also eco-conscious, why not forgo the traditional place holder cards in lieu of personalized seed packets or natural honeycomb candles that double as favors? We love the selection of green wedding decorations and favors at Beau-Coup.

A little “green” thinking on your part will ensure that both you and the planet get to live happily every after.

Love love LOVE these dresses. I'm a big fan of the bohemian look for any sort of wedding, but I think it's especially appropriate for an outdoor beach wedding (I blog about destination weddings to Mexico.) I posted a few of these pictures and link to this post on my own blog, please check it out at www.WedInMexico.org. I'm also on Twitter @WedInMexico. Thanks!
