Do-It-Yourself Lemon Placecards

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

Hi chicas!

This week we are going to deconstruct the very easy to do lemon placecards that we demonstrated on the homepage on Friday.  Did you catch that little project?  If not, here it is.

Now.  For the lemon placecards.  Remember, these placecards can be used pretty much for any table scape around.  From beautiful mod table scapes to more odd pairing like the one we did for the homepage.

What you will need

You are going to need lemons, a cutting knife, lemon leaf and thick paper for the placecards.

Step 1: Writing the Cards

This is as simple as hand writing. The handwriting will make your cards feel extremely personal and it is so simple.  You and your bridesmaids can do it.

Step 2: Make time for snacks

Ok. This isn’t really a step.  This is the CEO and founder Candice Lapin with Jennifer Juhos of Fiore Designs.

Step 3: Create the Placecards

It is about cutting them to the correct size so that they aren’t too big.

Step 5: Cut into the Lemons

You are going to want to cut only about into 1/3 of the lemon leaving about 2/3 still uncut.  This allows you to put some of the placecard into the lemon without drenching the card.

Step 7: Set Up

Now you are going to take the cards and put them into the lemons.  How easy is that!
