You ready?

Ok then, here goes.  Everyone wants to start with venues, but we think you need to start with budget.

Tip 1: BUDGET, BUDGET, BUDGET

Stick to you guns girls.  Its a recession out there.  And, we can’t spend the same on a wedding like we used to. But, that doesn’t mean you can have a fabulous wedding. We just need to figure out where to spend and where to splurge.

1.  Who is paying for the wedding?

Good question.  Who is paying for your wedding. If you are a young Latina chica out there, most likely you may have family helping to pay for part or the entire thing. But, how much have your parents thought about putting towards the wedding….

2.  Have you Talked with Your Parents About Their Contribution?

If your parents or family is contributing, have you had the conversation? Make sure you have this conversation!!!  It is super important.

3.  How much are YOU contributing?

Now if you are a little older, it is likely that you are also contributing to the mix. Yeah!  It can be so fun to actually start helping right?

4.  Make a List of Who is Contributing and How Much!

Ok, now once you start figuring out who is contributing, this will totally totally help!!!

You will need to start thinking about little things like cost of food, the dress, alcohol, party favors, etc. So you want to be fully armed with all the information you can get about how much you will be able to spend.

Trust us, you need to know so that you can start planning all the fun stuff.

AND….btw whether your budget is big or small – you can have the wedding of your dreams.
