Looking for a cool idea to get your girls excited about participating in the wedding? Being a bridesmaid can be super fun but not if you are put in some silly get up with too little color and not enough style.
Instead of thinking about the usual, consider a few non-traditional options:
1. The Mexican Peasant Dress
When I saw this idea at a gorgeous backyard wedding in Southern California, I thought – Yes! This is exactly the kind of fun outfit that makes the wedding feel casual and each girl feel unique. I loved the wedding above because each bridesmaid really made the dress her own. 
2. Different Dresses In the Same Color
We also love the idea of picking a shade of dress or a particular style but then letting your girls pick the dress that they think works best for them.
You can either coordinate the shape of the dress and the color and then let them go from there.
3. Different Colored Dresses
Or just let your ladies pick different colors that coordinate with the wedding. This works especially well if each girl looks great in a different shade depending on their skin tone. Plus if they can even pick their own style dress than each bridesmaid will feel comfy on your big day.
